I
have lived in Dronfield since 1973.
Job/Pre-retirement job:
Bank
manager. Following early retirement I worked as a volunteer with Citizens
Advice Bureau for 8 years until I was elected to the District Council in
1995.
Family:
I am
married to Barbara, and have two children and three grandchildren.
Interests and hobbies:
My
main interest is choral music, and I have been a member of Sheffield
Philharmonic Chorus for 35 years. I am interested in most sports, but mainly
cricket and rugby. I am also interested in photography.
Why
I’m a councillor:
The
reason I stood for election was to serve my community to the best of my
ability.
